Secure Autonomous Driving

Connected autonomous vehicles are susceptible to a variety of cyber threats. Attackers can generate economic damage (e.g., loss of reputation for manufacturers), threaten privacy (e.g., through the creation of movement profiles) and, in the worst case, even endanger the life and limb of road users.

In the SAD research area in ATHENE, new security and privacy solutions are being developed for modern connected and autonomous vehicles.
